Vegan Cheez Popcorn

This recipe is SO yummy, you will never know you gave up dairy!

You will need:

Popcorn Kernels (1/2 c)

4 TBSP High Heat Oil

4 TBSP Soy Free Earth Balance Butter

1-2 TBSP Nutritional Yeast (depending on how “cheesy” you want it)

Salt and Pepper, to taste

Begin by popping the kernels in a large dutch oven pot by putting the oil in the bottom of the pot, adding the kernels and heating on high until the kernels pop (this is the Old Skool method people!)… Remember to keep the pot moving across the eye so your kernels do not scorch…

OR

Air pop the kernels per appliance instructions (omits the oil).

Immediately place the popped corn in a large bowl.

In a small skillet, melt the Earth Balance butter. Drizzle the butter over the popped corn, tossing the corn intermittently to coat the pieces evenly.

Finally, sprinkle the nutritional yeast over the corn, add salt and pepper (optional), toss and EAT!
